Fine Art Portfolio
Hi! My name is Elz and I am a queer and autistic artist, painter and student based in Canterbury, Kent.
I completed my Undergraduate degree in Media Studies with a First from the University of Kent, where I studied a range of subjects, including Art History, which pushed me to pursue a creative career.
I am currently studying for my MA in Fine Art from the University for the Creative Arts, and I will graduate in September 2026.
Medieval Marginalia
In August 2025, my piece "I'm Only a Day Old" was included in the wonderful exhibition "Medieval Marginalia" at Hamilton Vault Studios in Birkenhead, England. This exhibition was curated to include pieces inspired by medieval literature and illustration, which is one of the main visual inspirations for my practice.
Hamilton Vault Studios reported that this was their biggest exhibition opening they have had to date!
Bad Art: Fandom
In September 2025, one of my older pieces, "Malenia, Blade of Miquella" was selected to be included in the Bad Art: Fandom Exhibition held at London Art Services. I was keen to get involved with this exhibition as I make a lot of fan art in my spare time. Since being part of "Fandom", I have started to include more fan art and special interests in my main practice.
